Mission:
Child Wellness Fair is a non-profit health organization dedicated to providing a path for
parents to make educated decisions about Physical, Spiritual, and Emotional wellness for their families.

Vision:
The Child Wellness Fair connects families with area healthcare professionals, social workers, educators and volunteer ambassadors to identify community needs, launch efforts to address those needs and provide the means to stabalize the program.

It is our belief that by working together, sharing in the responsibilites and providing leadership that allows easy entry points for individuals, businesses and organizations to truley collaborate we can begin to solve many issues otherwise falling in the cracks of our society.

History:
For years, child healthcare providers have discussed the question, "How can we offer better parenting and extended counseling to parents in our community?"

A group of devoted pediatric caregivers decided there was enough discussion and that it was time to put their ideas to work. They developed a shared dream of a child wellness fair that actively reached out into the community and found support from leaders in the healthcare industry. But they wanted more... these devoted professionals wanted the parents to have a place they could trust as a resource and seek advice from "wellness experts" in their own backyard. It needed to be more than just a weekend fair- it had to be available when the parents were in need. There was discussion about establishing a community campus for parents and children to learn about health and well-being for the entire family.

The Child Wellness Center opened in July of 2002 as the answer to the need for a community campus for parents and children to learn about health-related topics. One of the Child Wellness Fair's founders Dr. Robert Evans says, "It has been rewarding to see the areas' wellness experts come together in this new venue to provide better parenting and wellness awareness to the community." The first Child Wellness Center is located in Northeast Cincinnati, the Landen area, at 3484 Irwin Simpson Road in Mason, Ohio.

Our initial educational programs include nutrition, fitness and exercise, personal safety, child obesity and lactation/breastfeeding. Your family's physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being should come first and the Child Wellness Fair is here to help you do just that.
